Lesson on American Sign Language Alphabet (ABC, ASL, fingerspelling)

IDD 302 Teaching American Sign Language

For IDD 302 class, I chose to teach you American Sign Language because that is my first language. Now I'm going to show you the picture of ABC's in ASL. Pick your dominant hand to use to fingerspelling. First, you have sign exactly like picture and video of ABC's. Make sure you fingerspell near to your face and shoulder. When you fingerspelling DONT BOUNCE! If you fingerspell like that it would be hard for us to read your fingerspelling. Second, practice yourself without looking at the picture of ABC's in sign language. Third, practice fingerspelling D,F, G,Q, K, and P. Sometimes people are getting confuse with D,F, G,Q, K, and P. Fourth, fingerspelling your name. :)

Really? That's impossible! Baby is not same like me. .

Once upon a time there is a baby boy sitting on the floor of house. A baby boy's mother has hard time with a baby boy because baby boy is always fussy. This time she was addicted to drug and hard time to control her self with emotions and depressions. She started to yell at the baby boy and tried to get him to pay attention to her. A baby boy looked when he heard his mom yelling at him. A baby boy's mother looked at baby boy wondering what's wrong with my son? She grabbed the pillow and threw it at the baby boy. A baby boy fell down and hit the ground. . .

A baby boy passed out. His mother started to panic or freak out she didn't know what she should do next. She decided to bring her baby son to the hospital into the emergency room. Some doctors and nurses went into the emergency room and checked out what happen to this baby boy who passed out. They checked what was wrong with this baby boy. A few hours later the baby boy woke up after being passed out. They checked out a baby boy again to make sure his eyes, ears, mouths, arms, and legs were okay. Later the doctor found out that the baby boy has something wrong with his ears. So they tested the baby boy's ears. The doctor told his mom that your baby boy is Deaf.....................

.. Really? That's impossible! Baby is not same like me hearing. .

Prank. ..

A baby boy's mom was not addicted to drug and didn't throw the pillow. . .no emergency room. no yell. .

One thing that is true I was born Deaf..... :)
